Sling on your tummy

The short wrap allows for flexibility to adjust the wrap indefinitely by allowing for the size of the baby, the clothes you wear or the position you use. The child can just as well be seated vertically, cradled or facing outward, tummy-to-tummy, on your back or on the hip. Once adjusted, the wrap can be reused without undoing the knot.

Sometimes, if you are wearing lighter clothing or the opposite, there must be adjustments made to the wrap. Placing the knot in front of you makes for easier adjustments. You can also knot in back of yourself if you are able. The major inconvenience with the short wrap is that it does not permit knotting that equalizes the weight over both shoulders and is thus used principally for asymmetric knotting with most of the weight on one shoulder. A certain discipline must be used in order to remember to switch shoulders for the health of your back.
