Here are the basic steps in understanding how to knot the simple Cross on your tummy (Facing outwards):

 
Place your baby facing outwards by supporting him under his bottom.

Sit him in the side of the wrap that passes nearest to you.
 

 

Spread the material completely in its width.

Spread out the other side in the same manner so that baby will be sitting on the two layers of the wrap.
 
Make sure the pelvis is well tilted forwards so that baby won’t topple forwards and lift his knees with legs well folded inside.
 
 

Do the adjustment of the tension by pulling on the spots that are slack and continue the length of the wrap up to the knot. Make the knot once the adjustments are finished.
