Back to simple cross on your tummy knot

Here are the basic steps in understanding how to knot the simple Cross on your tummy (Frog position):

Place your baby up on one of your shoulders and take one of his legs and pass one of your hands under one of the widths.

Change shoulders and do the same thing with the other leg so as that the baby is sitting in the “X” formed by the wrap.

Once the baby is well seated, tilt babies’ pelvis so that his bottom is against your waist, lift the knees and spread them lightly according to what baby can tolerate.

,
For better support and to keep babies’ back round, cover him by spreading the wrap over baby with both widths of material.
If baby is very alert but comfortable, you may decide to cover his head or keep his arms outside of the wrap. To insure that the wrap is well adjusted and that the babies’ head and legs are well supported, pull on the edges by following the path of the wrap. When you are satisfied with this, do a double knot. You may now place the baby in and out of the wrap without doing any adjusting.
